UK PUNKバンドTHE CLASHのヴォーカル、JOE STRUMMERが亡くなって今年で13年。そんな彼の魂に捧げるトリビュート・イベント、それが ”ストラマー・ジャミング”。 このイベントは、彼の残した音楽へのイマジネーションを現在進行形のものと捉え、新たなムーブメントを生みだすべく2012年、日本の街の片隅から始動しました。 ジョーの家族や友人達が立ち上げた「STRUMMER VILLE」基金へ贈るこのベネフィット・ショーが、ルーツ・ミュージックと、進化する ニュー・ミュージックを繋ぐ 次の世代への架け橋となることを願って。
13 years has passed since Joe Strummer, who was the main vocalist in the UK band "The Clash", passed away. A tribute event called "Strummer Jamming" is dedicated to his soul. Regarding the present progressive of the imagination to the music he left, this event evolved from a corner in a city of Japan into a new movement create in 2012. The show will benefit the Strummerville Foundation, created by Joe's family and friends. Our aim is to be the bridge and connect the roots music to the new and the younger generation.
